This image depicts the final suture lines following a coronal brow incision (not the sutues at the hairline) and following repair of ptosis and dermatochalsis.
  • The surgeon makes an incision across the top of the head, a few inches above the hairline. The brow and forehead are lifted upward and excess skin is removed.
  • The sagging skin is pulled up and tightened
  • Excess muscle and skin removed.
  • Scarring is usually concealed by the hairline.
  • This procedure raises the eyebrows and reduces creases and wrinkles on the forehead as well as excess skin at the bridge of the nose.
